I shot this mini-documentary of my fellow animators Justin Kohn, Kent Burton, Mark Kendrick, and Mike Belzer working on the film UNCLE ELEPHANT. Is this grown men playing with dolls or serious business? Clips from the finished film illustrate what they are doing. Videotaped at John Clark Matthew's studio in 1991. I shot this behind the scenes video in 1990 depicting the animation process for the television special RALPH S. MOUSE, the third in the Mouse and Motorcycle trilogy. Justin Kohn animates the country mice chase sequence, while yours truly animates the XL7 road racer sequence. Clips from the show demonstrate the results of the work.
